Paint ball is considered a sport because it does involve a lot of physical activity. The object of the game is to shoot small balls of paint out of a paint ball gun and successfully hit your target.

There is a lot of running and jumping when you are playing with a gun. There is a lot of physical movement to try and avoid being hit by the paint ball pellets. The person that is most covered with paint is none the less the loser of the game.
